The Copenhagen based Director/ D.O.P duo: VIDA is rooted in tropical counter culture and cold suburbian concrete.

Once upon a time CHRISTIAN KIRKEBY was shooting rugged skate videos in his home in Gran Canaria , while KRISTOFFER KIRKETERP was selected for a  CPH:DOX directors’ talent competition with a film about two male strippers becoming reggaeton stars in South America.

Shortly after, the two joined forces for the first time as a duo with the music video for “Ses Senere” by rapper Artigeardit. For some, this became a lowkey cult classic. For  VIDA it became their genesis and the first time anybody’s had a rapper hotboxing in a freaking Ellert (if you know you know).

Now VIDA continue to excel full speed with their unpolished aesthetics and cinematic glimpses of this thing we call life.

This one time Kris won a cool lighter at a funfair. Also Christian can skate while filming and has a hidden talent for trap shooting. Combined he could probably crush a clay pigeon and a treflip simultaneously.
